Denplan works in a much different way to Practice and Member Plans. As a Denplan member you are placed into a category which determines how much you pay per month. The category you are placed into is decided following an initial consultation with the dentist and is based on the amount of treatment you have done previously

 

There are five categories in total with the majority of people falling into category B or C:

Denplan covers all of your dental treatment, examinations, hygienist visits and treatments (some exceptions apply). You will however pay laboratory fees when work has to be sent away for example: crowns and dentures.

Member and Payment Plans

As individuals we are have to make more and more provisions for our own health needs. We believe that the best way of making dental treatment more affordable, without compromising a high quality of care, is to offer you membership at The Smile Works, our practice member plans provide the following benefits:

There are four options under The Smile Works Practice Plan:

 

Option 1 – The Smile Works Practice Plan £9.50 per month

 

This covers two routine examinations per year including radiographs (xrays) when clinically required, two hygiene sessions per year, 20% discount on further treatment, worldwide trauma emergency callout insurance and redundancy protection.

An initial administration fee of £9.50 will be collected with your first plan payment only.

 

Option 2 - Registration and Insurance. Plan Only £34.50 per year This is a 'pay as
you go' plan.

This covers you for worldwide trauma and emergency call out insurance and secures your Member registration here at the smile works. This option does not include cover for your dental examinations, hygiene sessions, discounted treatment or redundancy protection.

 

Option 3 – The Smile Works Hygiene Plan £12.68 per month
This covers 2 routine dental examination including radiographs (xrays) when clinically required per year and four hygiene sessions per year, 20% discount on further treatment, Worldwide trauma and emergency callout insurance also redundancy protection.
An initial administration fee of £9.50 will be collected when your first plan payment only.

 

Option 4 – The Smile Works Annual Plan, £3.86 per month
This covers one dental examination per year. 20% discount on new dentures and denture repairs, this option also includes the same benefits as The Smile Works Practice Plan.
An initial administration fee of £9.50 will be taken with your first plan payment only.

0% Finance

0% Finance with Medenta is an affordable way to pay for the treatment you want. It enables you to get the right treatment and pay for it over a period that suits you, with no interest charged for 12 months.

Subject to an ‘on the spot’ credit check you can typically borrow between£350 and £25,000 depending on the course of treatment. Normally applications are approved there and then so you can schedule treatment immediately. Repayments are made monthly by direct debit.

Once you have agreed with us on your course of treatment The Smile Works will make the credit application on your behalf. Once the credit check is complete and the loan processed you will receive written confirmation from the credit provider.

 

We will be able to go through the various terms and conditions with you and agree the most suitable repayment period.
