Denplan works in a much different way to practice plan. With Denplan you are placed into a category which determines how much you pay per month. The category you are put into is decided following an initial consultation with the dentist and is based on the amount of treatment you have had previously.

There are five categoroes in total with the majority of people falling into catergory B or C:

Denplan covers you for all clinical work done in practice and so excludes external technition work.
